Hey anyone in the bay area work at an auto body shop and would have any time today to check out a broken side mirror for me? Or know of a good place I could call/go to?...
Thanks to a little hit & run, I’m looking for an auto body shop somewhere around San Francisco with an emphasis on affordability. Could DIY with touch-up paint but...

I was gonna say, coming from someone who does street parking, my car has been banged up so much over the last few years I don’t even bother on the paint touch up lol How bad is the damage? I do understand if it’s significant and you’re wanting to avoid rusting and whatnot If you’re looking to save some money, consider driving out of town (either east to the valley or south) everything in the city is going to be crazy expensive Higher rent costs for businesses = higher service charges
CactusJ replied:
I took mine after it was scraped up to California Detailing https://californiadetailing.com/ Buff, polish, paint correction, he did a great job. Stupid cheap (relative) compared to a body shop. Just depends on the amount of damage.

I recently swiped a stop sign and had to embark on the same quest. Swiped the stop sign at the end of the curvy exit 293A on i40. Yeah, that was me. After searching reddit, Yelp and Google Reviews - I landed at Tunstall Williams on S Saunders St. Tim, the owner, was really nice, open and frank about what he could do and the took the time to explain the quotation. He was also very understanding of my situation (no collision insurance, 10 year old car worth $3000, poor college student) and recommended a great and affordable outcome.

I've had good luck with [John's Collision](http://johnscollisioncenter.net/). Location is off US-70 not far from I-540.

Avoid KNS Automotive in Carrboro if you want your car fixed right. I've heard good things about Triangle Collision, I should have went there.
