So, I've gone through this for about ten years and I finally went to a gastroenterologist. We did blood tests, stool tests, and even a colonoscopy and nothing. So she recommended the low FODMAP diet. It's the first thing that's actually worked for me. Basically, there are certain fibers in foods like wheat, onion, garlic and some fruits that are super slow digesting in the small colon. If you avoid those then you can avoid stomach issues like gas bloating and diarrhea. Tons of blogs and such on it, but the Monash University app is the best resource I've found. Best part about all this is that it is purely based in science and proven by clinical trials. https://stanfordhealthcare.org/.../pdf-lowfodmapdiet.pdf
