I have had great experiences at http://www.yelp.com/biz/jacks-shoe-repair-san-francisco-3 and http://www.yelp.com/biz/carlos-shoe-service-san-francisco I've probably had my black boots resoled and repaired about 8 times and both places nailed it! I've also had other shoes done at both and have been very pleased with the outcome. Both are very reasonable price wise as well.
