Most rescue websites post pictures of the animals up for adoption. I would start there and if you find a pup that catches your eye you can call and schedule a visit. Rescue centers: San Jose Animal care center, Nike Animal Rescue or Silicon Vally Pet Project ... Good Luck!

You might try Adobe Animal Hospital South Bay - they tend to have LOTS of open appointments. They're at the corner of Los Gatos Blvd. and Blossom Hill.

Thank you all for the suggestions! She has been to Pinnacle before, but they are the ones booked up solid. Its as if I were trying to book her for a vacation to a lush tropical resort! Lol I didn't know Adobe was local, too? I've been to the Los Altos location. I think the Wednesday clinic at Pet food Express could work just fine, and probably save money, too. Win win!

Like Sandi Watson Mileham said, Dr. Ly-Luke is awesome at VIP. She also volunteers as a DVM at a shelter, and does Pet First Aid seminars (Gratis). She is one of the best DVM's around, and her staff at the wellness clinic is filled with bright, smart Vet Techs. No appointment, the prices are lower than average, and of good value.
