We just shipped our household from Tampa, FL to Uvita, CR, including two vehicles using Barry and it went smooth, we would use them again! Who would have thought, how do you get a car up into a shipping container 4 feet off the ground???? Hire a flatbed wrecker, duh? Barry and Arden have ALL your answers!

Do NOT use Eddie Tavares with Altimar shipping. I had to make 4 trips to Limon and my truck and enclosed trailor was on the boat outside the port for a month before the ship was allowed to dock. They damaged my truck and trailor and nobody took resposability to fix my damages

all the condo and yacht owners in los Suenos resort and marina use ozwaldo with american export, all u have to do is get your stuff to miami, and then in a couple days it will be in san jose, or los suenos, for you to pick up, can ship anything a friend of mibne has a complete deiesel engine for a boat being shipped right now, you can do mail too 305-597-8377

Contact American Export. They are probably the best and are reasonably priced. Tell them what you need and they can help organize things on the US end to get to their office in Miami. From there they deal with everything and will ship right to your door.

I used Charles Zeller at shipcostarica.com. they were helpful, friendly and the most reasonable that I found. All my stuff arrived undamaged. I have a car soon to be released that I shipped through them too. Pretty accurate on the import tax quote, it was $200 something more and they handle everything. The safety inspection. Import taxes, and,attorney for paperwork for transfer. I loved them. Let me know if you want his number

We used APA Worldwide Movers from Denver to Tamarindo. They packed everything at our house in Denver and unpacked at our condo in Tamarindo, taking care of customs in San Jose for us. We had a good experience. They have an office in San Jose, CR. It is best to use a company with a base in CR.
