I was told about Blair Animal Hospital when I called my vet about my cat after hours.

Blair Animal Hospital DOES have after hour ....and I do know this for a fact. .. my Brittany Spaniel was hit by a car a few years back, on a Saturday, and the vet met us at the hospital.

Ebensburg animal hospital has 24 hr emergency service 814-472-6263. Not all vet offices have emergency after hour services, BUT I think they have emergency info on their phones after hours. Before Ebensburg started offering full after hour services they had a set up with 4-5 other vets and every week each one took the emergency after hours. Their phone messages would tell you who the oncall office was. Sometimes it was Somerset sometimes state collge. But now Ebensburg does it all the time.

Do yourself a HUGE favor and if you need emergency care, go to Metzger Animal Hospital in St College. They are AMAZING. I couldnt find an emergency vet in Altoona unless you are a current client.

Metzgers Animal Hospital in State College has been our vet for over 20 years. I live here and they are wonderful. Last year they started to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A vet is there 24/7.
