Kenya C. replied:
For all those saying Iams Proactive is a horrible food, etc. A ONE star dog food is a horrible food, and a two star is below average. By the time you get to a three star food like Iams, I wouldn't call it a horrible food, I'd call it an average food. Everyone can't afford a great food which is what I would consider a five star dog food like Acana and Wellness Core to be. A four star dogfood is above average in my opinion. It's not all or nothing, there are shades of gray.

Hello everyone. I was wondering if any know a affordable vet to Neuter my dog in Santa Clara or around Santa Clara ?
Grace M. replied:
Silicon Valley Animal Control
Nancy B. replied:
Humane Society Silicon Valley. Go to the What We Do tab, then Medical Services. They do spay/neuter Mon-Sat. Fees are based on weight of animal and fees posted right there. You will need to call the number and leave a message. They typically call back within 48 hours and will probably have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment.
Andrea K. replied:
Pet Lawrence. That's where I take my animals all the time. They are right across the street from Kaiser.

Come on up to Los Altos. If you want white glove care, at a reasonable price ... the only option is Adobe Animal Hospital (on El Camino). All others pale in comparison. Really.
