Hussein at Fremont Auto center on Mowry is the best and most honest mechanic I have met in fifty years. He will tell you what is wrong and not charge you if for some reason he cannot do the job. I once left an older car there to have some repairs done. He called me and said that it had so many things just about to fail that he recommended just selling it as is. A very honest man.

Petco also offers a shot clinic. Most locations.. U can either chec with ur local petco or go to luvmypet.com and check their calender for locations and times

Pet Wellness Center in Rising Sun is great and charges less than 50

Pet Wellness is $20 something for a wellness check up, and $40 something for a sick visit. I love them!

Chadwell Animal Hospital in Abingdon is $39 for an office visit.

Tractor Supply!

If you don't want an office then find a clinic. They only charge for the shots. Pet Valu, Concord Pet, Tractor Supply all do clinics locally. Or you can buy everything except rabies at Tractor Supply and do them yourself.

If you just want to do shots, you can go to Tractor Supply, purchase them and do them yourself. You can always check local pet stores for Wellness Clinics. VIP pet does different shots. You would have to contact them for exactly which. Pet Valu has a Wellness Clinic April 18 th. Distemper $20 and rabies $12. One of the best vets I can recommend is All Paws in Perryville. A well visit is $45. Clinics are fine for the shots but you should also have a regular vet. That way your not stuck when you have an emergency.

I would highly recommend UNI clinic in Union City. We have a 2 year old pembroke and just brought home our 8 week old corgi pup...Doctor Kang at UNI clinic is THE best!

Uni vet is awesome and they are open on Saturdays. Before they do anything they go over the price, so there are no surprises when you walk up to the checkout counter.:)

Hey! That's Tim's place. Charlie SimonHsu is from there. We went to the humane society in milipitas for his crypto-orchid surgery and first rabies vaccine. It was a good experience and Charlie was a happy camper when I picked him up. For training we took him to the spca and wag hotel in SF.

The best vet bar none in Fremont is dr Helen Hamilton. I believe she's only an internist so pray you never have to see her. I drive from cotati to Fremont for her services. Olone vet is next to the office and very good. It's on Washington.

When I lived in that area I went to Mapleleaf vet, great care, nice clean office and super friendly.

I actually just took my little guy to the vet today. We just started going to Phinney Ridge Animal Hospital. I'd have to say that everyone is extremely nice and love to give your pets love. They were very open to questions and very gentle with my shy puppy. So far I would recommend them!

I know its not Fremont however we love All About Pets on Alvarado Niles in Union City. They are open 7 days a week. My parents used Robert Tisdale in the past and my dad loved them too.

When I had my cats I took them all to Central Vet. They are really good. Stay away from Tri-City Animal on Fremont Blvd.

I went to Dr. Bruno at Central Vet for about 13 years with 2 different dogs (until I moved out of the area). She has a great bedside manner and my dogs loved her. My only "complaint" was that she never recognized that my Cosmo had dry eye, but when I moved the vet here diagnosed it even before doing the tear test. But she's a great vet.

I have gone to Dr Chen at Bay Area veterinarians on Washington blvd She is amazing. I have been to done that are mentions but the honesty and compassion with Dr Chen is what i appreciate

I personally did not like Dr. Chen. She was rude to me.

Many years ago, Dr. Rue (Irvington Pet Hospital) actually sent flowers when she heard that we had recently lost a pet (lost due to old age). The way she relates to animals makes it obvious that she loves pets!

Having said that I am sure there are other vets who are very good Dr Chen is the right fit for my boys

I've been going to Dr Tisdale for years. He has a new partner in his practice (whose name escapes me), and she's wonderful as well. In Fremont near the intersection of Mission & Washington.

I've been pretty happy with Ace Animal Hospital on Mowry. And they are open till Midnight, which is handy.

I love Ardenwood Pet Hospital, although I only (thank god) have had to go for the basics. Shots, Checkups, etc. They are very sweet with my dog. They have a house cat and my dog has a thing for kitties, so they always allow us to bring her in via the side entrance to avoid any issues, which we all appreciate Pics of the pooch for reference: http://i.imgur.com/BMmX5VD.jpg

We take our dog and cats to Dr. Dunlap at Central Vet. I have heard great things about Dr. Tisdale too. Our previous dog had a chronic illness, that sometimes could turn into an emergency. I always felt comfortable leaving our dog in his care. If you have an emergency at night, Ohlone (I can't remember the whole name) is great, but expensive. Really expensive. But I am thankful to have a 24 hr vet in town. Edit to add: Dr. Dunlap is great with cats.

Rose Veterinary Clinic or Eskridge would be most reasonable on prices. Fremont is very expensive in my opinion.

My puppy had to have emergency surgery and Fourmile Veterinary Clinic was awesome and is letting me make payments.

Dr. Lyons in Odon does he is a awesome vet... the number is 636-7737. I think they will let u pay what u can afford. they are very understanding.

Dr. Brock smith does. He let us make a couple payments when our dog was sick. I think you have to pay some upfront and I think it t depends how much the bill is.

Dr. Bruno at Central!! She performed the surgery on Fonz (my mustached cat) when his head was ripped open (before he and I were together). We also bring both of our dogs there
