I'll third Dogwood Animal Rescue!:) Boarding many survivor's pets indefinitely, for free, in addition to the large amount of animals they help already. We love them. But if course these are all great organizations. Thank you for doing this.

UPDATE (10/15/15 at 6:15pm) • GREAT NEWS!! Laylo is HOME and SAFE! (See photo below!) His mom, Jess, writes: "After an extremely long month, I can happily say my baby is home!:) He was dumped In Sebastopol by the freeway by whom I'm assuming was my neighbors! He was taken in by a lovely family after wandering for a couple of days, and they took care of him for about 3 weeks. They took him to the vet to get a check-up, and that's when they (the vet) told them he was my missing cat. The family was upset, but after speaking to them, they were very happy he was home. I am extremely grateful that my baby found nice people who took good care of him. I missed him so much! Laylo is finally home! <3" Hip Hip HOORAY!! We're thrilled to know sweet Laylo and his mom have been REUNITED. When we asked Jess if Laylo's microchip is what led to the reunification she wrote: "Yes, they scanned him and they called me immediately! I'm so happy I got him micro-chipped. I never lost hope!" This is such a great reminder that microchips work...They save lives, and reunite families! We send a huge "Thank You!" to Laylo's wonderful finders for taking such good care of him, and for taking him to the vet. Many thanks, everyone, for sharing and caring! Happy endings are the very BEST!! <3 #SonomaPetsAlive #ForTheAnimals #Gratitude #MicrochipsWork #WeLoveHappyEndings
