Thank you to anyone who decides to help me.

I see Dr. Shadmany in East Mesa. I drastically changed my diet, following a pretty strict paleo diet, and ended up getting my hormone levels normal as well as lost about 50 lbs. I have also recently started using essential oils to help improve my overall health and know that many people have successfully provided support to their endocrine system. Good luck!

I have it too plus a thyroid issue and that is how I got it in the first place. just avoid eating what irritates it and taking my thyroid meds. I see Sara K. at one life medical on ocotillo 480-987-5525. I was going nuts till she explained it. I am very happy with her. It can be fixed with meds, don't have to take it out.
Dr. Lalani his office is in Scottsdale, I feel he saved my life.

My daughter went to Dr. Peterman for 2 yrs. He was great at first then was awful the last couple visits. If you need a pediatric endocrinologist see Dr Towger at Phx Children's.
Anyone have an outstanding endocrinologist in the Scottsdale area they can recommend?
Liz B. replied:

Anyone in AZ have a good endocrinologist? In the East Valley? Maybe one that sees kids past 3 and isn't booked solid for next 4 months out!?! Grr...

Scottsdale Ridge Medical Center, 480-513-1042. Julie . They now have an office in Chandler, but I don't know where or if she goes to that office. I LOVE HER!!! And I have an underactive thyroid and trust me, I've been to almost all of these people. They just do NOT 'get it'. She does! Worth the drive even if you do have to go there.
I'm looking for an Endocrinologist in the east valley. Anyone know of a great one???

Sara T. replied:
According to Dr Barnett's site, he is not an Endocrinologist, but a naturopath who services alternative medicine for hypothyroid issues. I'm assuming he doesn't deal in diabetics then? Just trying to clarify since I am also looking for an Endocrinologist.
I am looking for a good endocrinologist. Anyone know of one outside of Mayo.
