Staying same place. Everywhere will be nuts NYE. Lots of great beer bars in Philly. Near the venue the Bainbridge Barrel House is about 3 or 4 blocks from TLA. http://www.phillytapfinder.com/bar/bainbridge-st-barrel-house/

ABSOUTELY no use at most Spanish Restaurants if you have vegetarians or vegans in your party. Bar Atila and the new Indian across from them at Puente Don Manuel are fantastic and plenty big enough xx

I would DEFINITELY use Expedia. I've been going there for years and I've never gotten a better price from anyone else. As for the dinner...I'd say either Surf and Turf or The Italian Restaurant. But make sure you also do the Gourmet Restaurant while you are there.
