Where to get good horchata?? Where can I get good horchata near Seattle or Tacoma? Looking for the authentic stuff, not the restaurants that serve the powder mix. Thanks...

La Cabaña in North Seattle on N 105 th has really damn good horchata. Their pupusas are also amazing, as well as the chulita frita (honestly I've never had anything bad there). The owner Selvin is a super nice dude as is the rest of the staff.

Los chilangos (Bellevue location, food truck on Ballard sundays) has the best horchata I’ve ever had yet

any taco truck (honestly I have no baseline for "good")

I used to go to Los Agaves in Pike Market a lot before COVID. Their horchata was pretty good along with their chilaquiles! I haven’t tried El Borracho’s horchata but their food in general is pretty good so give that one a try. Plus one for El Rinconsito in Bellevue though! Closest to authentic Mexican food I’ve had since moving here from California.

Tacos chuki- and I am picky. I find most places tend to make it way too sweet.
Anyone have an fun memories of Torero's Mexican restaurant in down town Renton? They have moved now to the landing!

Senora Morton took our first year Spanish class there for lunch. The staff was instructed to only speak to us in Spanish. It was fun and the food delicious. This was 76-77.

I too met Al Hendricks at Jockos, when Randy Hansen was playing. And Dick Balch got in my face at southcenter one time.
