I have to book last minute flights to FL and the flights seem really expensive online. Anyone know if calling a travel agent would get me better deals or am I better...
Maggie E. replied:
Booking buddy.com. It compares 10 or so sites and gives you alternate dates/airports to compare prices. I've also had luck calling individual airlines for last minute prices.
Amanda G. replied:
Have you tried Priceline, Expedia and hotels.com??
Deana D. replied:
kayak.com is good too. But Florida is very popular this time of year so rates are high. Early/late flights with connections will be cheaper. If you can fly out of Providence, you might find better fares.
Greg W. replied:
Kayak.com will save time by comparing all the other sites. Also flying stand by is cheaper if you have time...
Kim D. replied:
southwest.com has cheap flts too
Deanne D. replied:
Southwest.com has some decent prices from Providence in April. Check their low fair calendar, If your flexible with dates, The prices aren't too bad, Seen lower but not bad..
Stephanie F. replied:
I did try Expedia and cheap tickets.com and the times leaving were super early with 7 hour total travel time. I've got 2 young kids with me and I may go insane . I will try the other too sites-thanks!
Boston F. replied:

Recruiter here! There are some great L&D groups. With L&D, knowing other travelers help as well. A lot of time, newer recruiters will group all L&D nurses together and not go with what you're looking to do. Hope this helps!
