UT physicians..Dr. Littleton or Dr Garmany!!
Kaleah B. replied:
I use Middle Creek family practice. I have a bit of a fear of going to the doctor, and my Dr, Candice Stewart, is amazing and so nice. She listens to your opinions and symptoms and takes them into account. They take must insurance, also.
Brenda K. replied:
I fell in adoration of my new doc in Seymour, Dr David Hassell, Cherokee Health Systems. I despise going to docs in this area. They are indifferent at best, cold and rushed most often. Dr Hassell is an angel.
Jill W. replied:
Yes, Dr. Littleton. He has moved to the big new place on middle creek called UT Regional. His number is 428-7586.
Judi M. replied:

Courtney C. replied:
My son doesn't have any special needs but I have been taking him to Hometown Peds on Dolly parton. They are so good there, answer all questions, and make sure he's comfortable and we'll taken care of. All around good doctors, and staff.
Kenny P. replied:
Dr Clyde Worley with Summit Medical at Jefferson County Memorial.
Jen M. replied:
My son goes to boys and girls in sevierville. Dr Hollingsworth is his pcp (I know there are other doctors in this practice and also other doctors at other locations). My son isn't special needs, but I love dr. Hollingsworth. He's very patient and good at explaining things to someone who doesn't have a medical degree lol
ChrisnAngel B. replied:
I wouldn't recommend Boys and Girls Pediatrics. There have been several instances where I left unhappy with the info given by Dr. Hollingsworth. He is a super sweet guy, but he is not very knowlegable about breasfeeding and it caused some major problems because my baby ended up being allergic to cows milk protein. He thought I was crazy when I asked if the Dairy in my diet can effect the baby. Wasnt until 2 er visits later that I found out it can and does with her! They also didnt prescribe her Vitamin D drops (which breastfed babies need from about 2 months on). I found out about it on my own and ended up starting it late which could be problematic because Rickets (Bow legs) can come of a Vitamin D Deficiency. I also noted that their food/formula chart shows to start babies on solids at 4 months, but from my research I found that the American Acadamy of Pediatrics says 6 months. Their office just doesnt seem like it is up to date on a few things:/
Kelly G. replied:
My son is autistic and we use Kids Choice Pediatric. He loves all the nurses and drs there
Nicole H. replied:
We were going to Kids Choice in Seymour when my son was getting diagnosed. Dr Jill took my concerns seriously and referred us to specialists. He ended up with an autism diagnosis, and we had his toe walking surgically fixed. The only reason we switched was because of a change in insurance
Abbey C. replied:
My son is special needs with sensory issues and Dr. Roger Jonson at Hometown pediatric is the best:) very patient with him and helpful.
Shawna L. replied:
I take mine to kids choice peds. In seymour! Dr Dave and Dr Jill are wonderful!
Cheyenne G. replied:
I prefer Amy Jarret at Mountain Medical. I took my special needs daughter to hometown and she has a severe heart condition and immune deficiency but when she would get sick they never had any openings making me have to drive her to children's Er. I seen them for 2 years and I was done cause when she gets sick, she can't wait two days otherwise we are looking at hospitalization. She has autism too!
Amanda B. replied:
My problem is with Mountain Medical. Dr. Barnes was the one that said autism is a PC term and that some people are just stupid. He doesn't believe in it.
Ivy M. replied:

UT Family Practice. your appointment is your appointment. no waiting for hours for your turn. very friendly group. one time I had to wait past my time and I waited about 15 minutes because there was a heart attack victim that was being treated and transported to hospital. that is the only time I was not seen at or before my appointment time. they are on Middle Creek and they have an after hours clinic in the same building as well as able to do X-ray in same building and specialists on the first floor.

If you are looking in the Sevierville area, My husband and I were in the same position of looking for a primary care physician a couple of months ago. My surgical nurse in Knoxville helped us. We are now going to Dr Bozeman's office on Middle Creek Rd. We have both seen Nurse Practioner, Lora Byrd and we're given a check-up that surpassed every checkup we have ever had. The office has plenty of staff and we are able to be seen promply. We are happy with them. Summit Medical Group 641 Middle Creek Rd.
