I see Weinrib at Mountain Diabetes and Endocrine Center and they are the best. They have a clinical lab connected to the building and are always pulling people for studies. I just got out of one - free insulin and test strips and I got paid $600 to do what I do everyday.
Looking for a GP doctor within 100 miles or so who 1) accepts most insurance and 2) is at least somewhat integrative/holistic.

I found one! After much searching and being turned down around 10 times bc the doctors weren't accepting insurance, my husband and I now see Ananda Vieagas at Our Family Doctor in Asheville. She's smart, personable, listens, and is totally fine with the alternative things I've tried.

I love Vickery Family Medicine in Asheville! Dr. Vickery is super holistic and likes to treat things with nutrition and movement first!
