Jennifer, for a family doctor I would strongly recommend Dr Edward Sames 633-3525. He is my doctor and has been since 1995. For a dentist, Dr. Jeffrey Fairbourn 633-3900. He is very good as well. Dr Betz has plenty other staff available, try Dr. Kehrer or Emily Flowers in that office, you will be so pleased.

Dr. Kehrer isn't taking new patients, but they said Emily Flowers is.

Emily is great, I've.found a good NP is just as good as the doctor and they don't push a lot of meds on you, if you have chronic issues they will start with Emily and then move you into see Dr. Kehrer that's what they did with me and she was supposedly full at the time. Great Dr office for sure.

I am going to try her for sure. I asked if I could possibly get into Dr. Kehrer later on if she had an opening and they said if I see Emily first I couldn't switch over, but I don't mind as long as I have someone I like.

Very few doctors in Shelbyville are taking new patients. Dr. Sames is not, in that office only Dr. Smith is. I've been trying to find a doctor for my BF, the only Dr I could get him to was Dr. Brook Massey.... Good luck finding one...

If you want to drive to Lawrenceburg I would give Danville Pediatrics a try. They have an office here and in Danville. My girls have been going there since they opened. (502) 598-3042 is Lburg office (859) 236-1080 Danville office. Our favorite is Angela!

All 4 of us have gone to Danville Pediatrics as kids...they're fantastic!

I love Dr. Dartt! He's been my Dr for years! (Before he went to med school, he was a practicing veterinarian! ) BUT, he is a wonderful listener and never makes me feel rushed. He always takes his time & asks lots of questions.

I agree with Katie. We go to Dr. Dartt. Our grandsons do as well. I like others in with him too. It's North Gate (1 or 2 words?) Medical - turn off 127 like you're going to Dairy Queen - it's on left just past Bennett's.

Dana Kuhn and Christy Coleman at Stonecrest are amazing. Be careful not to ever leave the practice, though. The head guys won’t allow you to come back...no matter even if the reason is bc they didn’t accept the insurance you had to change to. There is another practice in town that tried to charge my husband and me for services not rendered. We have changed to Allison McCutchen in Eminence and we really like her.

Sonny and I both go to Dr. Massey at Kentucky One. We really like him.
