I grew up on Old Nashville Highway witha La Vergne Address but went to all the Smyrna's schools. Old Rock School & New High School which is now the middle school. Remember when the Principal wanted us to block the front doors when blacks were allowed to go to our schools. Was home on leave when the band I was in closed the Air Base at the O Club. Petes Pizza, Walter Jordan running back, Tom Waldron linemen, many of my old friends passed through my town & my life. Some great memories. My Best Friend, Pal & always has been Jack Jordan what a great, great friend. my phone no. was 815 459 3545. I lived in the country but its no longer country just houses houses houses.

We love The Southern downtown by the Pinnacle building. The food is locally sourced (steaks come from a Lieper's Fork farm), and the prices are nice for absolutely gourmet southern food. Love it!

We just had Bob's Chop house, it was one of the best steaks. Cooked perfectly, outside crisp nag inside juicy! Kayne Prime & Bob's hands down the best. Pricey but worth it!
