Vegan cat food does exist http://www.veggiepets.com/ has some. I don't know enough research about it, sorry. Cats will still hunt and kill regardless of their diet, though, so I doubt you could raise a fully vegan cat!

There is certainly evidence that cats can be as healthy or healthier on a well-formulated plant-based food as on other processed cat foods. For check ups most vets charge the same but i can highly recommend Oak vets in Cotteridge/kings Norton. Really looked after us and our dog especially when she had to be put to sleep. Staff in there are really friendly and knowledgable

Pdsa Hagley they treat animals who's owners are on benifits u just have to show proof and ure council tax bill.

Oaks Vets in cotteridge has a rabbit specialist (Rebecca) who is absolutely great.

I use Value Vets in Kings Heath, very reasonable prices and nice vets, I have a dog and it costs £140 to have her neutered at any other vets, Value Vets charged me £86

Clent vets in Rubery vets for pets over priced but clent vets is cheap really great with bunnies and newly opened fantastic caring vet x

Manor vets for me - 2 branch’s one on hagley Rd and the other Halesowen that are open 7 days a week but I also use beta for pets Quinton for regular things like vaccinations

I wouldn't recommend Manor Vets in Halesowen. They let us down terribly when my dog was poorly and had no compassion at all

Another vote for lordswood vets but I know loads of people swear by Manor veterinary in Halesowen. It’s 24 hr.

Lordswood Vets have been taken over by Manor Vets. Had to visit yesterday and was impressed by the consultation.

Don't know if Devizes is close but McQueen veterinary hospital is amazing. He replaced both of me Charlies' hips and is so good that people travel hundreds of miles to see him. If Tyson is close enough to go there he certainly won't get better treatment anywhere. xx

Blacks Vets is open 24/7, they have a few about Oldbury, Quinton etc but the Dudley one is the one open 24/7. Not sure if they do instalments though.

unfortunately cremation is usually outsourced so they have to pay up front which means they arent likely to offer installments. If you are a regular at a vets they may make an exception as you'd be known and trusted but very few vets will offer installment payments full stop if they dont know you.
