and Weims are constantly surprising us, CONSTANTLY!! There is a TON to learn about them, this page is a tremendous help! I can tell ya a few common tips. They have ultra sensitive skin and stomachs, we have changed food bout 8-9 TIMES in 7 years.. They LOVE to hunt! They love to run and MUST exercise or they'll build up a frustration in them and start doing things they shouldn't, like being destructive in your home even when they don't mean to lol. When they are puppies they want exercise but ask your vet the ratio, they have to be limited before they become an adult. They also eat stuff FAST when you aren't looking, so ask your vet the ratio as they grow but keep peroxide on hand in case they swallow something dangerous (a little peroxide will induce vomiting) but too much is bad for them so ask your vet. We learned this after a couple inncodents like Steel BBQ brush, frog, rat poison, Coffee grounds etc.. * Best of luck! and last thing, Everyone told us we would NEVER find a good Weim in a South Florida Kennel, it took some searching but we found one, and shortly after we adopted another when we found a whole Weim rescue not far away! While getting things prepped, don't forget about looking into Pet Insurance for medical needs. It is a life saver!

Michael Hanson FYI German Weimaraner breeders import weimaraners from other countries including the US. Florida happens to have produced many of the Top ranked Weimaraners so not sure where someone would get impression that there are no good weimaraners in Florida Matt Di Fiore.
