Dr Kotta in Harlingen is a rare gem. I have been a critical care nurse for 20 years. I know who is who. He is my GP. I also work here at Vbmc-H.

Jason Peters on Hale in Harlingen 423 9111. I've been seeing him for years and also know him professionally from a past employment at Valley Baptist. Awesome doctor! He came to see me in the hospital after my surgery even though he wasn't involved in the procedure and didn't have to. Heck my surgeon didn't even come by to see me before or after my surgery.

Dr. Sanusi on Pease street near the hospital. The best!!!

We tried Dr Kotta. Roger was real sick with no appetite and he got his pain gone and appetite back. Very good listener and hardly no wait time.

La Mon Chaney not yet but leaning toward Dr. Jason Peters based on friends going to him, recommendations from this post, and him being in our insurance plan. If he does not work out I will try Dr. Kotta for the same reasons.

There is a new ER clinic in Harlingen, it's awesome. Neighbors Emergency Center, on Ed Carey Drive right next to the hospital, if you have insurance it's an option.It's really nice, clean, great staff and I just can't say enough about the care I was given

Valley Day and Night clinic in Brownsville. You walk in and they will cure whatever ails you.

DO NOT go to SPI CLINIC. You will regret it. They will do a bunch of unnecessary tests and stick you with a large bill. PI Health Clinic is much better.

For Pediatrics I like Dr. Thurber in Brownsville. I have also heard good things about Patino in Brownsville on Gloor (which is a little closer), but to be real, I always just end up at Boys & Girls clinic in PI because usually the illnesses pop up out of nowhere and I dont have time to schedule and appointment then do the 1.5 hour round trip. I have previously used Dr. Rocco and Dr. Thelma Gonzalez, also in Bvile

Pi medical wait time is horrible plus there are no roofs in the room meaning privacy would be an issue. Go to pediatric and adult clinic almost no wait time very professional staff and rooms are very clean and privacy would not b an issue 956-433-5022

Port Isabel health clinic only has a PA. She seems to just want to refer you on to a specialist. If.you have children Romeo Montalvo in Brownsville is great.

I really like Greg Luna. He is a PA but takes time with you and knows his meds. Behind the Gym across from Walmart.

PA Greg Luna at the PI Medical Clinic is a great person to deal with. His care, compassion and concern out does anyone in the area. If necessary he can find everything you'll need. Please give him one chance and you will not regret it!

I use Pediatric and Adult Clinic in Port Isabel. The PA there are very helpful and I don’t have to wait to get seen. There cost is almost half of PA Greg Luna cost if you don’t have insurance

Exellent internist in Harlingen takes uninsured and very nice office and my doctor.. Very intelligent. Dr. Shradhir Kotta. About $100 if no insurance per visit.

I just got out of hospital yesterday afternoon. I started with the PA at Pediatric & Adult clinic. He was super & we need to go see him & thank him for sending me to er for eval at Valley Regional.

Dr. Kotta in Harlingen. He is wonderful. I'm a Nurse so I give that compliment sparingly !! Lol.
