Heather W. replied:
Not sure if they take tricare but we use Pinehurst Family Care and Drs Monroe and Monroe for our dentist
Maria S. replied:
Not sure if Dogwood Dental does, but Dr. Gatti and her assistant are absolutely wonderful! I have a fear of dentists and they really made me feel at ease despite my issues I'm dealing with:). I highly recommend that you check with them:).

Sandhill's Pediatrics are wonderful. They have several different doctors, so it's easy to choose which one you want. 7 Lakes has one, and my son saw Dr. Mabry. He's great. His wife is there also, and my granddaughter saw her. Both great.
Jan M. replied:
Pinehurst Family Care, Dr. Jameson and his team are great!!
Vernie W. replied:
Sandhills Pediatrics are the best. They have several doctors and have three different offices. One in Southern Pine, Seven Lakes and Raeford. I have been using a lot of these doctors since the birth of my first child in 1974 and I still use them with my last child. Also my daughter takes her three girls to them too!!! Great doctors!!!!

Need pediatrician recommendations for the Sandhills area, as well as a pediatric endocrinologist.
Karen G. replied:
Sandhills Pediatrics is great... I like Dr Stewart. Not sure who specializes in diabetes there.
Elizabeth C. replied:
I really like Dr. Stewart. Go to Duke for specialists, they diagnosed Kevin in one month after four years here and in Florida with no answers. I would not take him anywhere else now for a specialist. We did Gastro at UNC pedis and did not have a good experience overall.
Avery R. replied:
Sandhills Pediatrics for primary care but I think you have to go to either Duke or UNC for pediatric endocrinology !
Avery R. replied:
We love Dr. Diasio but I'm not sure who is the diabetes specialist at Sandhills Peds?
Elizabeth C. replied:
Dr. Stewart at Sandhills pedis is so great we finally had to get a different Dr. For Kevin at 23!

Dr. Harrison Mabry or Dr. Jenny Mabry, they may only see patients in 7 Lakes, not sure but they are wonderful!!

Harrison Mabry is great. Especially with any add/ADHD issues.

Recommendation for Pediatrician and Pediatric Dentist? Also recommendation for private schools? Thanks Jade
Shaneyne F. replied:
Dental Derby for Pediatric Dentist, they're AMAZING!! Such a wonderful, wonderful place! Pediatrician we go to Kids First Pediatrics in Raeford. We used to go to Sandhills Pediatrics and had quite a number of bad experiences there. The 30 minute drive we take now is definitely worth it. Private Schools-I know the ONeal School is supposed to be really great. Episcopal Day School we have toured and loved it, it's PreK-5.
Marisa R. replied:
Second dental derby! They are great! Sandhills Classical Christian School is amazing!
Jenell C. replied:
The O'Neal School IS fantastic ( both as a parent and an educator). Small classes, engaged teachers, beautiful campus, etc etc. Schedule a tour and see all we have to offer. Feel free to email me with any questions I might be able to help with.
Any suggestions for a pediatrician? We recently moved to Pinehurst & need to find one.
Sara V. replied:
Sandhills Pediatrics has a few different locations, one in Southern Pnes and one in W est End/7 lakes. We actually just started going to them but yesterday I had to make a same day appointment for my daughter and they were able to get me into the 7 Lakes location( i usually go to southern pines) and everyone was very nice and helpful and it wasn't busy at all. Highly recommend!
Jacqueline M. replied:
Agreed, Sandhills Peds is the best. We did not have a good experience at Pinehurst Family.
Tiffany G. replied:
Premier Peds
Ewa P. replied:
Best part about Sandhills Pediatrics: they have a walk in clinic every morning and by appointment only every evening, walk in Saturday morning clinic and Sunday afternoon clinic for sick kids - that's been so helpful with all our sickness this year!
Does anyone know of a pediatrician that will accept tricare prime in the area? Right now we are told we have to go to Fayetteville or Raeford.
Jules R. replied:
Pretty sure there isn't one. I checked a year or so ago. That being said, I do make the drive to Raeford & see Dr. Johnson at Hoke Primary Care in the Cape Fear Valley Hospital. I ❤️ him and his staff. It's a 30 min drive, but worth it we've decided.
Lisa A. replied:
Unfortunately, no. We go to Kids First in Raeford, right before Walmart. It's not a bad drive. Dr Buenaseda is wonderful with my two. I'm glad your son is being seen and hope he feels better soon.
