Hi Rebecca. We have a bunch of child care options at the Y. I'd suggest you call our child care director, Katie Sherman to arrange a tour and see our Learning Center in action 860-426-9541 or ksherman@sccymca. Also, those who enroll full time at our Learning Center get a family membership to the Y. If you have any other questions, you can call me directly at 860-621-8737. John Myers, Executive Director

I am surprised to see that nobody has mentioned The Stork Club on West st. My daughter graduated from their pre-k with advanced reading and mathematical abilities. The director is wonderful and they also have a great summer program with lots to keep the kids entertained. I highly recommend them. I won't bad mouth other centers but will say that there are 2 that were mentioned that my son had attended when he was younger that I would NEVER recommend.

Be sure to get an IEP in place for her. The IEP is an extremely important document in the educational lives of students with disabilities receiving special education under IDEA. The resources listed below will help you learn more about IEPs—what the law requires, what information a typical IEP contains, how IEPs are developed, and so on. http://www.parentcenterhub.org/repository/iep/

My son received birth to three for speech. He didn't qualify for speech at Hatton but I enrolled him as a typical peer. His teacher Mrs. Peterman is highly experienced and amazing. Spots fill up quick. If you're interested I would register as soon as possible.

Hatton ABA program is beyond fantastic. The most amazing people that helped my son. He is now 13. He started there at 5 in that program and stayed at that school until he was 11. I can't say enough for how they helped my boy. Amazing people God put in our lives.
