When I was shopping for a scooter some years ago I dropped by a place you might be interested in. they didn't have any scooters, but they had a dozen or more tires hanging from the ceiling, and a guy inside was working on a bike. it seems like a stree t-bike kind of place. it's a business of course... not a friend who happens to be a mechanic. years ago I remember liking the place (believing, for no reason at all, that the place must have integrity). I think this is it: Dynareno Motorcyclesmore info 608 East 4 th Street Reno, NV 89512 (775) 323-8846 I just looked at it on google-maps street-view and that's probably it. there are trophies in the front window apparently. (I don't remember trophies.)

There is a Bridgewire member who I see sometimes at Microcontroller Night who... who knows motorcycles as well as anyone could I think. He didn't come to mind immediately because I think of him as working with Harley-like motorcycles. But, he's workin g on a bike he hopes to run at the salt-flats one day, so clearly he works on racing bikes too. And, I think he worked for ... some major manufacturer in its R&D department. I think he's amazing. I don't know which shop is his, but he owns one of the chopper shops nearby (right guys?). You might want to just go to all the motorcycle places near Bridgewire and ask about him. He's called Nick.
