I have had horrible experiences with Auto Doctor. I drive to Reno now. I do hear good things about Quality and the owner is very nice.

The Auto Dr had made a lot of significant changes in their staff. The other is more hands-on and is really catering to the locals. Their guys are highly experienced and participate in ongoing training. They guarantee everything they do, plus you cannot beat their customer service.

Norms' Subaru Repair Ruth Ave in South Lake Tahoe. Totally worth the trip to South Shore. take tour bike and go for a ride to the beach while your car gets repaired. All Certified Subaru mechanics, follow Subaru recommendations, honest opinions, good advice, every reasonable prices. Ward & Sons is great too especially for parts replacement as he regularly goes to the junkyard looking for Subi parts, but for routine Subi service I like Norm's... Quality Automotive has also been every helpful with diagnostics.
