Diana Curry, so sorry for your granddaughter, it's a horrible debilitating disease, and no one knows how to control it. I've been researching for quite some time and hopefully I can find a doctor who understands.

I have had Hashimotos Autoimmune disease for over 15 years nobody knew how to handle it...not even many Ednocrinologists...a year ago someone reccomendedd Dr David Moreno in Brooksville on 50... he's the only one who was able to get my out of controle TPO antibodies from 1,246 down to 362 in just a years time...we are still working to get it down to below the normal range of 36...but I really feel normal again (most days)

Diabetes care center in Hudson, any of the doctors there are great, I use Dr. Penabad from there.

Dr Pinero-Pilonia in Hudson. He's with Diabetes Care Center in Medical Office Bldg next to Bayonet Point Hosp. My husband has been seeing him for a few years and I highly recommend him.

I do not recommend Dr. Mahmaljy. My husband had a bad experience with him. My husband now goes to Dr. Pinero and his diabetes is under control. Great Dr and he listens to his patients.

Dr. Pinero literally sat me down and drilled me with questions during the exam for at least 30-45 minutes. I've never had such a thorough doctor before.

Depending on your insurance, Dr Ghiath Mahmaljy is very good.

I would highly recommended Dr. Loman at the Diabetes Care Center. I just went to her for Hypothyroidism because I knew something was not right with my meds, I was going to another endocrinologist mentioned above and it turned out my med dosage was too high which was causing me to have hyperthyroidism symptoms, and it turned out I have a completely different condition that she diagnosed right away. So now I'm on new meds and a lower dosage for hypothyroidism and am starting to feel better and it's only been a couple of weeks.

Dr Janika Diabetes Center. I've been through 4 endos and she's the only one who listens!

I also highly recommend Diabetes Care Center, they have 3 offices - Hudson, NPR & Clearwater. I am diabetic and have seen Drs. Penabad, Loman & Janicka. They are all great.

Used Penabad and pinero before and I'm much happier with dr tourtelot in Tampa at moffitt cancer center. He takes regular patients with graves disease and other hypo and hyper issues he is awesome. Dr. Penebad office staff takes way too long
