If you have a player or camera that has audio/video output, you can connect to a Dazzle or MovieBox converter - those converters take any RCA inputs. In my experience, you need to have a decent computer to run the software and video capture well. I h ave the MovieBox, it works fine. The software that came with it isn't the greatest, but it works fine and gets the job done with a few extra bells and whistles for custom menus and such. http://www.amazon.com/.../B00032Q3XS/ref=as_li_ss_tl...

I don't know for certain, but would a military training type training place be able offer advice and possibly contacts? Thinking laterally I mean?
I_Protect_Mickey replied:
You could do it on your own if motivated.
Most police departments use a standard physical fitness test for each group it hires. Ours was a 1 mile run, sit ups, push ups, measured grip strength, and a timed obstacle course. Its been a while so I don't remember the numbers needed for passing.
Try to contact local departments, or maybe check their websites. See what they require of new hires. It may be listed somewhere.
Once you have these numbers, work towards passing scores. Eventually try to better the times, amounts. Most departments use an average, so if you do bad in one area, another score could bring you up.
Also work on the written test and prepare for the interview phase. Very competitive field to get into, good luck.
