If you are looking for someone who is licensed go to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. Click on child Care and then the look for providers button. You can look for home childcare, group homes, and daycares. It will have all their information including past and present inspections where you can see what they failed and passed and how long it took them to fix the issues.

We've been at Christian Prep for 2 yrs and not had a problem. They are awesome people!
Christian P. replied:
We love you to Athena. Please know that Laura Miller is entitled to her own opinion, just as anyone is. It seems we both haven't had such good experiences with each other. We suggest researching any potential preschool or baby sitter. You can actually look up reviews too. Look for non-biased opinions and reviews to formulate a "solid" basis for your search. The most important things at Christian Academy is God, Safety, Family, and Education. We are a non-profit facility. Here is a website that tells more about our school and our facility (including pictures). The tuition is actually considerably cheaper than the website shows...we just need to update it. http://www.christianacademyministries.com/Tuition_.html

Jayme Balmer our prices are $110.00 per week for a two year old. We are open Monday-Friday from 6:30am-7pm. Also we are an accredited private school. We went through all of the necessary licensing needed and the state deemed us licensed exempt just like New Covenant Academy, and Christian Schools of Springfield. We have cameras in each classroom to provide an extra security measure. That way parents can watch the cameras if needed, we also have a key pad lock for parents to use to get in the building, and back ground screening on all staff. So you see taking care of the children safety is our number one concern. Then next is hygiene, and education. Our students test out in the 90% for kindergarten screening. We have a nurse on staff, and daily sheet sent home. You can see that we love what we do, and we do a great job!

Really bummed...just got a call from our family doctor's office. They are no longer having evening office hours. Anyone who knows me knows that is crucial because of me...
Kyleene S. replied:
When Dr McFann was in Springfield, her office had two evenings a week. She left (moved to AZ) & they cut it down to one evening a week, then I got the call today that they're stopping that. I really haven't been happy with the office since Dr McFann left, but stayed because of the evening hours & the fact that we were established there. Dr McFann was in the office that Dr Gordon is in when I first started going to her, then she opened her own office. I really didn't like it at the Moorefield office. It was run down, noisy & the staff wasn't really friendly. Now, that's been 8-10 years ago, but from what I've seen on www.healthgrades.com, it's mostly the same doctors there. I do have to say that I did see Dr. Gordon when I was there & he was nice, but he is older & when will he decide the retire??? Ughhh...
Leslie H. replied:
Dr. Gordon did, but I would check. It's been awhile that I needed a late appt.
