If you're looking for something part-time, GIlbert Public Schools has a preschool program (either 3 or 4 day options) through many of their schools. You can get a list on GPS website.

Learning Dynamics on Greenfield and Elliot. It's awesome!!
Dawn Saxton Weiberg Spier has a wonderful preschool in her home in Mesa. Higley & Adobe. She is affordable, structured, a certified teacher, and taught both my kids to read before they turned 4. They were so far ahead in kindergarten, the teacher didn't know what to do with them!

Also, are you a member of our other Springfield, Missouri Moms group here on Facebook? If not, the link for it is https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/SpringfieldMOMoms/. That page is used more for moms to talk about issues, as well as playdates, moms night outs, etc. You may get more feedback if you post your question there as well. :) - Kristi

Looking for preschools Hello,
My wife and I are looking for a good preschool in the area. Preferably a non religious affiliated one (no offense to the religious folk)....

There's a [Montessori school](http://dgmontessori.org) in town. It's not at all my thing, but it's the only good preschool that comes to mind that doesn't have a religious affiliation. That's not to say that there aren't any others. It's just that I keep thinking of great schools and then realizing they're at least somewhat religious.

I recommend Creative Learning Center off of Campbell and sunset. It's non-religious and affordable. The people there don't let their faith spill into the class and they've been taking care of kids forever ever. Until we found it we had basically given up on finding a place that didn't pray before lunch that wasn't pricey. Edit: we are organizers for Skepticon, so we're pretty good at keep an out for that kind of stuff.

You might check out Head Start. There are some financial requirements, but worth looking into.

There is a program called MPP. This last school year it was HELD in a church, but it is not affiliated with a religion. I can give you the name and number of the woman who can give you info and get you on the list, if you're interested.

We have used Christian Schools of Springfield for both our boys and really like it. They start at 2 if they are potty trained, do part time, and are open 7 am-6 pm year round. Very good price too. Its on North Grant.
