I think [Classic Tattoos](https://www.instagram.com/kellertattoos/) or [St. Pete Tattoo Company](https://www.instagram.com/stpetetattoo/) personally. I haven't been to either, but I love the work that comes out of there. I did hear some complaint about Classic in a Facebook group once, but no one else seemed to corroborate that.. And I have a friend who went there for all of his tattoos, and he really likes Classic so YMMV.
Looking for a good tattoo shop in St. Pete, any recommendations? It's been 20 years since I got my last ink, and I don't know who's good around here and who isn't. I'm...

Man the only shops I’d trust between here and Tampa are [Amulet Tattoos ](https://www.amulettattoos.com/tattoos) and [Niteowl Tattoo in South Tampa](https://m.facebook.com/NiteOwlTattooFL/) As for a watercolor style artist idk that either of those shops have an artist that can do it, but they’re awesome about suggesting other artists in the area that can do what you’re looking for. I’ve seen A LOT of shops here and none of them churn out the quality I’ve seen at both of these, plus they’re CLEAN! So important. My favorite part though was that at both shops none of the artists could really pull off what I wanted and so I was suggested other artists who could and I thought that was pretty respectable. And if you ever need an amazing piercing go to Niteowl and ask for Matt Feck. I had gotten pierced a few times in my hometown and ALWAYS caught an infection and could never keep the piercing. Matt hooked it up and I wasn’t even sore the next day. He’s the man.

I would make the drive to Orlando for Russell@Hart and Huntington. He's THE guy for watercolor. Successful watercolor tattoos are difficult because of the lack of defining edges, which are crucial for longevity. A poorly done watercolor will end up looking like a gross bruise in a years time. https://www.russellvanschaick.com/watercolor-tattoos/

Mother Ocean Studio in Gulfport! Samantha, the artist there, is not only amazing at designing but also does seriously gorgeous coloring and lines.
