Dr. Porretta at Walmart on Randall in Algonquin. She is wonderful. I had been to two ophthalmologist (Fox Valley and Wheaton) practices, neither of which could get my prescription correct after multiple visits. I went to Dr. Porretta and she figured it out in one visit. Best vision I have had in over 20 years! It’s a bit of a drive, but well worth it.

Several years post PRK. Looking for a good ophthalmologist or optometrist. Someone with experience with post-PRK patients would be great!

Dr. Eric Quartetti at Fox Valley Opthamology is fabulous! I had RK in the 90's and was starting to have halo and starburst issues about 10 years ago. I had gone to 2 other docs who tried, but didnt help. Saw Dr. Q and voila! I had a glasses prescription that let me see. He always works with me to overcome each issue as it pops up. 5 Stars and 2
Pam W. replied:
Dr Michaelson at Wheaton Eye Clinic. He did my PRK. What issues are you having?
