Chris Kelly is absolutely the best. I have used him for different ailments over the years, most recently for PT after rotator cuff surgery. Competent, caring staff and he takes most insurance. I can’t make a stronger recommendation!
Cindy H. replied:
Hi Dana. Let me ask you this first. Is there a reason why you're looking specifically for a physical therapist? Curious because, I work for Dr Ackerman in Bartlett at Balance Family Chiropractic and my office can help you! Many people do not know the benefits of Chiropractic Care and choose physical therapy (which is still great) or surgery just because they're not familiar with or don't know much about chiropractic care. If you're interested or have any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Hey, Dana. I've had knee problems for several years now, and for about 6 months I've been going to Advanced Physical Medicine of Saint Charles. I went from barely walking to running in 4 months of PT and almost totally painless. In wake of recent events, both my mother and my sister have been going too, with great improvements. Much has improved, even my dad went in for a fractured finger at one point! Highly recommend, the staff is wonderful and helpful. Will add on your map.

If you did not know, you can not be treated by a PT in Illinois without a doctor's script. "J-203.1 Practitioner Orders A written recommendation (order) signed and dated by the patient’s practitioner (i.e., M.D., D.O., APN, Physician Assistant and a D.C. only when working within the scope of practice) is required for the provision of therapy services." A PT person can do an evaluation but not treat without an order. The practitioner will usually recommend physical therapists appropriate for your condition but you are not limited to that list.

I had both of my knees replaced 7/21/15 by Dr. Morawski at Fox Valley Orthopedic in Geneva. He is one of the few Orthopedic Surgeons who specializes in total knee replacements and doesn’t cut muscles. Five days later I started PT with Bill Strawniak at ATI Physical Therapy at Fox Valley Orthopedic. He is one of their senior therapists and was excellent. I was using a cane and driving my car at two weeks, and riding my horse (walking!) at five weeks. I have no restrictions and no problems! 630-584-1411
