Claire's in Lloyd center or at The Streets in Hillsboro is the cheapest and fastest place for just ear piercings. I have 3 ear piercings on each ear and have all got them done there with no complications. Claire's is perfect for piercing earlobes other places will charge a completely crazy amount for just piercing ears (:

I would go to any clean tattoo and piercing shop over Claires or Walmart. More sanitary and better experience with someone who studied the risks in depth. Canyon Body Art in Beaverton is great!

It all depends on what you are getting too. Some artists specialize in specific styles. Thoughtcrime Tattoo in Portland or Hopeless Ink in Vancouver both do amazing work.

I got my first tattoo with Sean Lanusse at Infinity tattoo. I've heard he's not there anymore but I do believe he's still tattooing and he was amazing. 100% true to what I wanted and it only took him 7 minutes to tattoo 30+ beautifully scripted letters. For my second tattoo which is much bigger, I ended up going to an artist named Collin at Lady Luck tattoo. He did talk me out of a little of what I wanted but the tattoo turned out amazing and I get compliments on it all the time. I'd recommend both artists!
