Whatever you do, don't use Kennelwood. We've had a bad experience there and I have heard that the trainers and the people that watch the dogs hit them. Care.com has a pet sitter/dog walker area in their site.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but we've boarded our dog at Rock Rd Animal Hospital as well....great service, and our dog seemed to enjoy it also.
