I worked for two vets in my metro area. I recommend that if you cant get to your vet anytime soon, you go to an emergency clinic. The STL Animal Emergency Clinic is in Kirkwood. You're going to experience a very long wait, like hours. I'm also not sure if they're still doing curbside or not, but they're an option.

I use Elm Point Animal Hospital here in St Charles. Dr Little is a great vet who takes the time to explain everything and gives you all the time you need to ask questions. Right off Elm St (near 370) next to Sugarfire.. and they have staff there 24 hrs a day. Their number is (636) 757-7350
Looking for a (great) Veterinarian anywhere in StL. I'm looking for a Vet in the St. Louis area. I am in West County but willing to go anywhere in the area for a really...

This Doc is awesome. She's right in the middle of Maryland Heights. http://www.familyanimalhospitalstl.com/staff.php

I see there are a couple of positive reviews for Webster Groves Animal Hospital but I politely disagree. They are highly expensive and I don't think they're all that great on the "bedside manner." They've got nice hours but that is about it. You make an appointment and wait and wait and wait for the doctor to come talk with you. I only use them in case of an emergency. I now use Watson Road Vet and they're amazing. They're smaller but the personal attention is amazing. They've worked with me on payments, extremely caring towards my 3 dogs and very well priced. They tell me to call back if things aren't better and usually don't charge for a follow up visit if the issue is not fixed. As an example - to get my dog's teeth cleaned and a tooth pulled I probably would have had around a $500 vet bill at Webster and at Watson the grand total of the bill, including medicine, came out to $101. I recommend this place to everybody. I've had dogs my entire life and this place can't be beat.

We take our pets to [Millis Animal Hospital](http://maps.google.com/maps/place?oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=millis+animal+hospital+st.+louis&fb=1&gl=us&hq=millis+animal+hospital&hnear=St+Louis,+MO&cid=7806599686838099054) (near Big Bend and Dale) and have had really great luck. It's completely walk-in, though, so if you have a vet you want to see it helps to call ahead to see if they are working, then just ask to see them when you arrive. I'd recommend Dr. Savage there.

I would recommend Dr. Yaros: http://stlouis.citysearch.com/profile/5720496/bridgeton_mo/carrollton_veterinary_clinic.html Her office is nearly the smallest building I have ever seen. Despite that, she is spectacular. I took my dog there and found her to be a wealth of knowledge, incredibly patient, and really helped me out. She devotes a ton of time to rescues in the city (which is how I heard about her). On top of that, she's affordable.

My parents go to this place in Chesterfield right near Ballwin and Town & Country on Clayton Rd. It's at the intersection of Baxter and Clayton, and it's here. http://www.crvhstl.com/ My friend used to work at Tri City Bird and Animal Clinic in Ellisville on Manchester road. Both of these places are amazing.
