Where are you located? Empire Fitness Academy in Brentwood just opened and it's got good people running it. Dave Winfrey comes highly recommended as a trainer (NASM Certified) and he specializes in Dolce Diet techniques for nutrition. He's the real deal. https://www.facebook.com/EmpireFitnessAcademy/ Good luck!

Hey if you're anywhere near the Ballwin area, lookup Pete Markos at the The Pointe at Ballwin Commons. Extremely knowledgeable about the human body and an all around great guy. I've recommended him to many people and have only heard good things about him so far!

I highly recommend Brandon Williams the Director of the Chesterfield Club fitness. He also trains during his breaks and can work to your schedule. The only thing i recommend more than his training is his nutritional help. Chesterfield Club Fitness (636) 489-1070

The real question is what are your goals? That can play a part in a personal trainer as well. And the next question is, do you want someone who is just certified or someone who has a degree in exercise physiology, experience and the certifications? If you talk to someone who only has experience, they will NOT be able to explain how the body reacts and adapts to exercise and the biomechanics behind poor form. The different energy systems, how to manipulate the metabolic resting rate or proper nutrition for performance (let alone how the body uses fuel). Educating a client is important in helping them succeed on their own should they choose to leave or if financial circumstances prohibit them from continuing. I highly recommend Sophia Phifer . She owns recalibrate fitness, has 8+ years as a trainer and even more in the industry as an athlete. She has even competed in fitness model competitions and is a natural born motivator. She is highly certified and has her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science as well as her MBA. Being a trainer myself, I know the value of education and experience, as I too have them both. If you are looking for weight loss/fitness along with full time support, she's what you want. She has a community Behind her to back it up. If you're interested in combat athletic training, I specialize in that.
