Do not rip off the gutters, it's not necessary. Shovel or roof rake 4-6 ft above the gutters and this will stop the leaks as well as using calcium chloride to free up the ice dam. If you need assistance I can so this for you as I have done 7 just this weekend. Tom 203-241-6828

OK, Segundo will. He was the ONLY guy who actually bought a ladder to go up the roof. One guy bought binoculars. What's he supposed to see from that. This guy also advised me to shoot the woodpecker (a protected species, whereas Segundo had lots of ideas. ortegasegundo25@yahoo.com or Cell (914) 882-5789. 2 people I know have used him if you need personal recommendations. thanks
