Getting Married, Need a NOVA Hair Dresser . . . Suggestions? Dear fellow NOVA redditors,
I'm getting married in May and am looking for a reasonably priced hair dresser...

Can you give a little bit more info? How many people? Are you planning on going to the salon or having the salon come to you?

I'm a hairstylist that travels... I have done lots of weddings including makeup artistry. What all are you looking to have done? Are you talking just you or your wedding party too? I know a lot of stylists won't touch a wedding party for under $400.

I'm more than happy to go to the hair stylist. I want a simple up-do (french twist-type). I have two bridesmaids and, depending on the pricing, they may want their hair done as well. Urlefthand, I'll definitely check out Michael Helene Salon. Thank you!

I have a friend who does my hair who works at Frizzles in Alexandria. She's great. I'm not sure what she would charge, but I don't think she has a minimum for wedding parties. http://alexandria.frizzlessalon.com/salon/talent/ruby/

Hair Studio 54 in Chantilly is great! I'd recommend Kim or Yuni for an bridal up-do, prices start at $80.

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate all your suggestions and will start calling around soon!
