I was hospitalized for two weeks in January for a 12mm kidney stone blocking my ureter. Had to go under general anesthesia twice to get it removed and the doctors at Advanced Urology Centers of New York at 2 Medical Park Dr. West Nyack performed the operations/procedures. I highly recommend avoiding them. They did not explain procedures well, laid on the pressure when I was making decisions, did not provide adequate pain control when I was discharged and had a very painful stent in me for a month and a half, and their follow up to the numerous procedures was non-existent. The one doctor I went to retired a couple years back, and he ruled. Sorry I don’t have a recommendation for you, but I want to make sure that if you have a choice, do not choose Advanced Urology Centers of New York. Good luck!

Wasn't happy with emergency situations with Advanced Urology in West Nyack either. Dr. Wayne DeTorres is excellent in Midland Park NJ out of Valley Hospital, which is a very good hospital in the area. His office is simple but his knowledge and thorough care is worth the trip for my bf.
