It's so funny reading all if these posts. I see all of these names at work and know a few of them. We also go to Dr. Shollenberger (Charlotte Paulozzi Seith, I didn't know you go to her!). I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She was spectacular when Lydia was first diagnosed and is still very much on top of things. Dr. Lim is also in her practice. All of the docs there are wonderful.

Your provider should have a search on their website to tell you who is in network. You will more than likely need to try a couple therapists to find who works for you. Keep an open mind and be honest. Good luck

If you’re seeking therapy/psychiatry: I found my current therapist (and, subsequently, my psychiatrist) by using psychologytoday.com. You put your zip code and travel radius in, and it shows you profiles of local doctors and therapists that show what they specialize in, what insurance they take, etc. I found this super useful so I could narrow down someone who specializes in the areas I need help but doesn’t have qualifications I don’t want/need (my guy specializes in bipolar and PTSD, and is not associated with spiritual crisis, for example). Anyway, psychologytoday led me to Allied Behavioral Health in Fairview, where I found the best therapist I’ve ever had. It’s possible you’d need someone different than who I need, though, so I really do recommend the psychologytoday search engine.

Hopefully the signal gets boosted on this post, I'm interested in getting help too for similar issues as OP. I have united Healthcare, but I've never actually used my health insurance before.
HumpingMantis replied:
I would recommend http://strongsvillepsychological.com/ There are a lot of doctors who work on a lot of different problems out of here. They also accept different insurance plans per doctor, so you'll probably find one that you can use. Call them up and ask them to run your insurance and they'll tell you how much it'll be. Good luck.
