I go to Dr. Ryan Newton in Greatwood! Very good, reasonable and an all around good guy!
If you want more than a one-time adjustment, "The Joint" overs a 69/month pricing (for 4 adjustments) and only $10 if you wish to have more than the 4 per month. That's a deal! Dr. Brian Schimming is my favorite of the other chiro doctors there. He is very aggressive (which is what I need). You don't need an appointment and you can pick who adjusts you when you go in. My fav Dr. is there on Sun-Wed.
I have a question for you all. My daughter has scoliosis and she has been getting treated by a Chiropractor and we are trying to find alternatives to avoid an orthopedic...
Bridget D. replied:
As a parent of a child with scoliosis, I have a couple of questions for you. What degree is her curve and is she having any pain? I would recommend an orthopedic surgeon because they are the ones who can prescribe physical therapy and a brace that may help your daughter. My son's curve was 120+ degrees and was surgically corrected in August of 2014 by Dr. William Phillips at TCH.
Jennifer R. replied:
At the moment I am not sure what her degree is. Last time it was checked it was like around 30 something. I would have to look at it. She needs to get x-rays to get updated on everything. We did see two orthopedic doctors at Texas Children's in Sugar Land and and all they offered was a hard plastic brace and if not then surgery if it got worse. The doctors refused to offer physical therapy. They said in their field that physical therapy does not help and refused anything else. She has been getting adjusted and we do exercises and stretches with her. We are trying alternatives. Once it gets closer to summer I will take her to an orthopedic doctor.
Does anyone have a job where they are standing and looking down a lot? Like a cook who stands and looks down at the food they are fixing all day. We are busy this time...
