AFAIK there's no such thing as a "licensed" roofer, but insured/bonded, yes. I could be wrong. But we had ours done by Texas Remodeling. Done in a single day, looks to be good quality work. I got quotes from seven different companies. And no one could beat Nick ochoas quote. Not Joe Ochoa that's his brother they were higher lol. He came in at $2500 lower than anyone else's bid. Using the same quality materials. Ochoa roofing has been around A long time. My best advice is to get as many quotes as you can you will be blown away at the prices that some of these companies will charge you and literally all they're doing is marking up for more money in their pockets.

I am an ex- property adjuster with Travelers Insurance and I have been on seen my fair share of roof claims and all the different roofing companies out their. Many are good..and a few bad ones, but many are EXCEPTIONAL!! I have seen first hand the wonderful and complete work Joe Ochoa Roofing has done. I HIGHLY recommend them. And when my house needed a new roof...I used Joe Ochoa Roofing. And no I get nothing for recommending them...I just know they great quality work they will do for you!

Few months ago had the entire roof replaced by Roof Toppers and they did a good job. Estimates from several local companies ranged from $5600 to $6500 (with the exception being Ochoa Roofing at almost $8000) for stripping old shingles, and upgrading from the 3 tab shingle style to the "HD" architectural shingle type.
