Dr. Benton and Dr. Garret of Charleston Heights Vet. Awesome vets and very reasonably priced. They are more concerned with the well being of the animal then the money.
Can someone suggest a vet in the Summerville / Charleston area ?
Jennifer N. replied:
Not sure if we have any active members in the Charleston area. This thread from the GT forum from several years ago is the only time I remember this being discussed: http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php/topic/276909-vet-in-south-carolina

Large and small animal vet recommendation? Just moved to North Charleston, close to Sunmerville, and I am on the hunt for a good vet for my dogs. I've always have had...

Try Shambly equine. I use them for my horses, but they neutered my dog and I know they do a lot of small animal stuff. I use Knightsville veterinary for most of my small animal stuff. Good docs, don't push anything unnecessary (hell, I asked for blood work on my cat and after the exam the Dr told me it would be a waste of money.) but they may be a ways away from you if your in NChas.

I've had the people at [College Park Rd Vet](https://maps.google.com/maps?rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS603US603&espv=1&hl=en-US&um=1&ie=UTF-8&fb=1&gl=us&sll=32.994133,-80.0975&sspn=0.0002136,0.0003395&q=college+park+vet) really help me out a couple times. They have a kennel directly next door. Had a family emergency and had to leave town immediately, but I couldn't bring my Lhasa and he needed a couple boosters. They let me drop him off, gave him his boosters and kept him at the kennel until I was able to pick him up. Really won me over as I was only able to give them a 30 minutes heads up.

The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek is exceptional. I recently adopted a dog that turned out to be seriously ill. They were all so caring and passionate about his recovery. They were also very reasonably priced.
