Service dogs are not pets. You actually need a real trained service dog (that is trained for a specific function for your disability) and has training certificates and service dog registrations rather than a family dog and a letter from a doctor. Big difference. Once you have the certificate your dog has to behave as a trained service animal (versus a pet) or at that point anyone can ask you to legally leave (like if your dog makes a disturbance like barking all night and disturbs your neighbors). Up until that point though, it is to my understanding it is against ADA law to deny anyone having a service animal anywhere including apartments that do not allow pets.

All the above can be discussed with a primary doctor, but your ovarian cysts will more than likely be handled by an OBGYN. If you're anxiety is too bad they may refer you to a psychiatrist. I see Dr. Carol at northeast ga physicians group in buford for mine.
