Exercise works wonders for depression. Nutrition is another thing to look at. Psychiatrists are more likely to prescribe medications, and you might want to learn a little more before going to meds. Children’s at Forsyth (The Collection) has a neurologist on staff and it will be someone good who can refer you elsewhere if needed. Dr. Reisner at Children’s was my pediatric neurosurgeon and thousands of other patients at CHOA. He is who you want if surgery is needed. Dr. Gerald Silverboard works with him and is a great pediatric neurologist available off of Old Milton in Alpharetta. Feel free to PM me if you need more specific details.

PANDA Neurology Dr. Berenson is who has taken care of my daughter since she was born. I know lots of people complain that he doesn't have a great bedside manner, but we love him. Dr. Flamini is also great there.
