I normally cut my own hair but I use cigar city barbershop in ybor it's 20 for a cut and they offer a hot shave and will trim your beard as well. I really liked what they did for me and they have a 5 star rating on google if they matters to you.

Make the drive to Elite Barber Shop on Gandy blvd by Westshore. I've been going there for years for cuts and beard trims when I want it (I usually let my beard grow). Never been disappointed and their prices are the best for the quality of the work. $12 for a haircut.

I really like John at Westshore Mens Hair Shoppe. Cut is $15 bucks and he takes his time and gives a really nice clean haircut. Just need to call and ask if he is there that day. The other barbers did a pretty good job but I think he is the best one there.

What exactly are you looking for when you say classic? If price is a main concern, Fademasters is great. Typical barbershop with great convo and cool dudes. They do fades, blowouts, edges, straight blade shaves, and many other cuts. There are 3 in the area. I know there's one on Fowler by 275 and one on Dale Mabry by Fletcher. About $15 per cut If you want a high-end place, no one beats Artisans Edge in downtown. $40 a cut, but its top notch. Now this place is classic. It's like walking into a 1950 s barbershop. I go to a small barbershop called Sheer Perfection near 275 and Dale Mabry on Cypress.

For all the years I lived in West Tampa I loved going to R J's Barbershop on Hillsborough. It's owned by brothers, Richard and John - I think. When I went there, there was an old black and white TV that always showed horse racing and all they seemed to be talking about was fishing. Your cut comes with a hot-foam, straight razor trim that was awesome. They added an Asian lady and she is also a very good barber.

If you’re looking for something in Brandon, I just went to 6 ixthelement for the first time. $20 a haircut so a bit pricey, but everyone knows what they’re doing and I saw everyone leaving looking clean as hell. EDIT: You can do walk ins but it’s strongly encouraged to do appointments.

I got my sideshave there and go there for regular maintenance and designs. Lisa and Nicole are awesome! You get free craft beer when you go if that piques your interest.
