I'm so moved & humbled from all of the responses on here, I had no clue that so many people would respond to my post the way you all have. What a great world it is & can be when so many people reach out like this, I'm floored by all of it as well as mo ved from my heart. Speaking of that I'm so thankful I have this pacemeker they have just put in me or I could be jumping around with my heart putting up with the heart touching experience that this is having on me, God Bless you all & your loved ones. God Bless America as well. Once I get something scheduled for her I'll post it on here to let all know that she's being taken care of on this. again, thank you all. I had a long day & this ole boy is tuckered out, both physically & mentally & you can throw some emotionally in the mix as well. She's my Baby Girl & that says it all in how much she means to me. Here's a more recent picture of her, even though I call her Baby Girl most of the time, I named her Lilly. She sticks to daddy so close that she makes sure that anyone else dog don't have front row with daddy. She just stares at me at times with a melting look on her face. I think she's happy with me, unless her looks are deceiving. Again she's my baby girl...

There is a van coming to town in the near future. You have to make an appt for it. Pennie Wardlow knows the date.
Becki M. replied:
So good of you to take care of her and ask for help. If none of the other suggestions work, you could also call Stray Hearts in Taos. I know there are low cost or free options available.

Call Grace Kilgore she aides with animals needing medical treatment.

Stray Hearts will give you a voucher for spay/neutering, all they ask is that you make a donation to the shelter..... Downside is the vets scheduling is usually about a month out, if not longer....

Salazar Vet not only has the best vets, but their techs are helpful & friendly. It's like you're going to a friends house that takes care of your pets!
Hey cool people! Doe anyone know of a good (and not scary) veterinarian? My puppy wants to go see someone but he's very afraid of the vet.

Taos Vet. Clinic..NICE people!
Brooke T. replied:
For regular stuff, I take my animals to Salazar. They must be doing something right because none of my animals are scared to go there. We usually see Felser. She's traditional but is very respectful of the nutritional and herbal therapies I prefer to use with my animals. I like all the vets there and though I've only seen her once, Dr. Albin is supposed to be the most knowledgeable about herbs and stuff. If you want an adventure, Don Hamilton is in Ocate (over past Mora). He's a homeopathic vet, and it's delightful to go to their beautiful farm for a visit. He will coach you to feed homemade raw food. He's great. He will work over the phone after the initial consultation. He's very intuitive.
