Does anyone know if Dr. Stanley Parker, the pediatrician is still alive? He was my doctor, and my kids doctor, and I had a dream about him last night.
Peggy B. replied:
I don't know, but he was a great doctor! He took care of me when I was born and later on some of my children until he retired. Dr. Mealy too.
Kathy L. replied:
He was a great doctor! It's just weird that I had a dream about him. I remember Dr. Mealy. I saw him just a couple of times when he as on call.
Debbie M. replied:
Dr Parker is still alive but Dr Normand Larocque passed away, he was my kids doctor and I loved him too
Kathy L. replied:
I didn't know Dr. Larocque. Well, I knew who he was, but I never went to him.
Jude I. replied:
Dr Parker was always so great with children and parents...and he never beat around the bush. Just told it like it was, and expected you to do the same. His straightforwardness was just perfect for us. Who was the other pediatrician in the offices with Dr Parker? White hair...tall man...I cannot for the life of me remember his name. Had to take my oldest to him once when Dr Parker was away.
Peggy B. replied:
Dr Mealy
Peggy B. replied:
They both used to make house calls. I had an over protective beagle when I was very young. Dr. Parker came to the house because I was too ill to go to the office. That sweet/darn dog had the Dr by his pant leg. Dr. Parker handled it with grace and dignity....I think even my dog was embarassed.:D
Alice W. replied:
Dr. Parker lived about a quarter of a mile down the street from me in Raynham. I do not think he still lives there, but has moved into his summer home in Mattapoisett and lives there. But, I am not positive. I do not believe he has passed away.
Jude I. replied:
Hahahaha, Peggy...that's a funny story, and sounds quite typically like Dr Parker:))
Mark A. replied:
who is this Dr. Stanley R Parker, MD Pediatrics(508) 880-7858 2007 Bay St Ste 103 Taunton, MA 02780

He was our Doc, too...we loved him!!! Still do!! Last time I was up there, I visited a friend at Morton Hospital...in one hallway, there was a really great photo of him hanging on the wall...I wanted to swipe it!

I need a new new pediatrician for my daughter. Any good ones out there?
Zelia B. replied:
I DO NOT like Dr. Berlin..but I think it's his personality I don't like mostly. Jake has never had any major medical issues thank God. He's still Jakes Dr..he just rubs me the wrong way. I've heard nothing but good things about the Dr.s at Northwoods. Good luck. Our children are our most precious commodities.
Kathy M. replied:
I love Dr. Berlin!
Lauren H. replied:

Dr. Berlin sucks !! Just my 2 cents!
Courtney L. replied:
Dr Berlin's personality does suck. He is a prick.
Lisa M. replied:
Dr Berlin visited Brody at Morton way back when he was only affiliated with good sam, he calls - sometimes too early, to follow up, answers his CELL phone at all hours ... He's a little gruff but he's been on top of bronchialitis, asthma, hernia, meatal stenosis, thyroglossal duct cysts and a slew of other things- he is a firm believer in less antibiotics, less medications & more diet, conditioning, holistic solutions-
Christine K. replied:
We use Dr. Bodie in Plymouth! She is absolutely amazing!
Zelia B. replied:
Lisa Rose Moran..you are spot on.. I wish I liked him more.. I've gone so far as to have Mr. Brennan bring Jake to his appointments..
