Dr. Hilton at Gibraltar Vet is outstanding!!! She and her husband are both owners and I would never go anywhere else. My pooch would only do well with women and she was amazing with him! However, her husband was awesome with my dog as well. I am planning on taking our new pup to them as well once he comes home in early February. I was a vet tech for 12 years and I highly recommend Dr. Hilton!!! Highly!!!

I go to Southgate Animal Hospital. I don't know if the prices are good or not, I haven't been to another vet in 30 years. Dr. Keith Cook & Dr. Ailene (sp?) Cook are the nicest and kindest people, we just love them! I used to go to Dr. Jutte, she is at Taylor Vet on Goddard Road.....we really liked her to, but went with Dr. Cook when she sold her practice to VCA on Eureka road. You can't go wrong with the Cooks or Dr. Mary Jutte, they are all wonderful people.

I was told Nichols Vet is very affordable and great service but I have never been there because it is a bit of a drive. I go to A & W too.

If you're up for the ride, I take my dogs to Affordable Vet in Belleville. I really like the Dr, and the staff is wonderful. Their prices are comparable to other vets.

Dr Hermann the mobile vet is wonderful and so is Dr Kelly at Lincoln Park Animal Hospital on Fort Street. Dr Hermann is much cheaper though and if your animals aren't having any issues that's the route I would go. I believe Dr Hermann also has a fb page.
