Scott Laing. Buy a new stop cock for £4.00. Switch mains off from street. Loosen bottom and top nut from stop cock inside house. Remove leaking stop cock. Place new stop cock on to pipe. Use existing nuts that are on pipes and tighten. Problem solved.
