For cardiology, Bakersfield is the place to go! We had a crash course in cardiology when my daughter I went emergent open heart surgery at 12 days for a CHD. Heart hospital has some fantastic doctors. My daughters pediatric cardiologist (Aaron Banks) has recommended Dr Kumar for adult cardiology.

Dr Kumar saved my life along with dr khan... agree with Laura Diamond..

I saw Dr. Tommy Lee (Cardiologist) in Bakersfield in October and he was very good. Very friendly and personable.

Also, I know Dr Warsaw in town is good for a GP. I haven't seen him but my mother in law has.
Can anybody recommend a primary care doctor in Tehachapi that is any good. My dr office at Omni took over 3 weeks just to send a referral request to Kern Health,...

Erin, I am so sorry that you are dealing with chronic illness. Functional medicine strives to find and treat the cause of chronic illness and not just the symptoms of the illness. I am the only Functional Medicine doctor in Tehachapi. I specialize in finding and treating the root cause of chronic illness. At my office, you will not be limited by a 15 min appt time. Expect your first visit to be about 45 min-1 hr. After that we will need to look intensely at your blood work from a Functional medicine standpoint ( much better ranges on blood work) and match it up to your history. This will give us some directions on how to treat your condition. I would love to be able to help you with your issue. I will be in my office on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Please give my office a call at 661-822-8457.

Have used Dr. Hall and her Nurse Practitioners, Fran Williams, and Terri Steinberg, since 2001, for all our children. They listen well, and help you make good choices with care plans. Try to make appointments early in the morning, or you will wait. (If every Patient arrives late, it just pushes everyone else back). They also have Urgent care on some Saturdays. Have also see Pesche, Horowitz, and his PA Don Daniels. No complaints there either. Always depends on our insurance plan, who we can see.

I have an chronic autoimmune disease. I saw Dr Cribbs for 6 years and she pretty much told me it was in my head. Her lack of knowledge and her just dismissing my symptoms for 6 years has done irreparable damage to my body. She also missed my grandmother's stage 3 cancer for 2 years, I don't recommend her for diagnosing anything

I have Dr. Peyton Riggs who is in the same medical group as Susan Hall and Mary Anziano. He is very down to earth and takes the time to listen to you. I don't know if he is taking any new patients at this time though.
